			A Butterfly Story On my daily morning walks I try to have conversations with God But there had been a long dry spell So I was “bitching” to God about it Almost immediately a huge butterfly flew by my head Landed in an evergreen branch right in front of me Wings fully spread The most beautiful Monarch I had ever seen Except the part of one wing was missing
It sat there waiting for me to do something And I was thinking about my upcoming chemo treatment So I left knowing I wouldn’t get much sleep that night
			At two a.m. I lay awake thinking about that butterfly Soon the simple idea came to me: God loves and speaks to us thru our imperfections And we are beautiful Be still and listen - Tom Persico
