LITURGY
| On Sundays, we come together as a family to break bread, to tell stories, to sing and to dance. We act within a tradition that we share with the larger Roman Catholic Church, the broader Christian community and the Communion of Saints. Cabrini's history and small size, though, constantly remind us that we are a living community within that tradition. The life of that community is apparent whenever we touch each other at a personal level - by announcing our individual needs and thanksgivings, by calling each other's names, and by accepting our sometimes noisy and wandering children for what they are. Though these actions define us as a community, the liturgical setting in which they occur depends on the formal ministries listed below. |

| Mass Coordinators: Lighting candles, preparing things, inviting others to bring up gifts…a few of the ways Mass coordinators say “Welcome!” as the community gathers for worship. Several coordinators would be glad to have others accompany them some weekend, to gain first-hand experience here. Communion Ministers: Holy gifts for holy people. From within the community, communion ministers come forth…Mass coordinators would be happy to know of your willingness to serve here, and younger children are especially invited to hold baskets during communion. Please consider how you can participate in these ministries on a regular or occasional basis. For more information, or to volunteer, please contact us. |
